Little Girl Praying

"Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:4

Prayer is powerful, prayer is decisive, and in fact prayer is necessary - it is a crucial tool for gaining victory over the kingdom of darkness. Prayer however is unfortunately many times misunderstood to be a highly complicated or sophisticated technique of getting God to hear us. This is not the case at all, though many have bought into this deception. Prayer, put simply, is communicating and communing with Father God. Prayer is letting God know what’s on your mind. Prayer is asking God, your source, to meet a want or need. Prayer is thanking God for His blessing, mercy, forgiveness and unconditional love.

This section is here to help guide you in faith-filled Biblical prayer. Each prayer has carefully been constructed upon a scriptural foundation. Remember that nothing is ever "written in stone" concerning these prayers. Take them and make them your own. Personalize them, and add to them if you desire. They are simply a guide to aid you as you deepen your relationship with the Lord and pursue His Kingdom on the earth.

"If you abide in Me, and My Word abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."

John 15:7

DAILY CONFESSIONS

Father God, I pray over every meeting, conversation and activity I engage in today.

I pray that all my steps be ordered by You, that my heart and my mind always responds in obedience to Your directions.

I pray that I choose the way of righteousness when faced with many paths of judgment, that I will always fulfill Your priorities and never allow my flesh to dictate my actions or attitudes.

This day, I do all things to the glory of God and I am fruitful in every good work.

In Jesus' Name, Amen!

GUIDANCE

"Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory." (Psalms 73:23,24)

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus,

Lord there are many things in the world that try to lead man, but I pray that I would be led by Your hand, and that You alone will guide me down the proper path.  I know you speak to me in many different ways, so I also ask that when you speak; I will recognize that it is You.  Whether it’s through a pastor, a friend, a stranger, or directly from Your Word, help me to hear and recognize Your voice, and do Your will.

There are many distractions that try to consume my time, but I desire to put You first before everything so that our relationship is above all things.  Lord I recognize that I need you desperately, and ask that I would sense your presence on a daily bases as I remain to walk and live by Your Word.

Help me Lord to make right and proper decisions; decisions based upon Your Word.  Help me to love those who I find hard to love, and forgive those I’ve struggled to forgive.  Let me read the Bible with enthusiasm and joy, out of love for You and Your Word, not because it is routine or required.

Lord let me acknowledge You in all that I do in daily life, because Your Word says :  "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."  (Proverbs 3:6) I believe and trust in that word Lord, and know I can rely on You!

I thank you Lord for all you have given me, for even if I had every material possession stripped from me in this life, I know and am assured of one thing: That I will have eternal life, with You forever.  I have declared by faith that I believe, and will continue to live my life by faith, so above all, thank You for sending Your Son to die for me.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

"For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death." (Psalms 48:14)

FAITH CONFESSIONS

In the name of Jesus, I am a believer.

I believe God's Word. I am what the Word says I am.

I have what the Word says I have. I can do what the Word says I can do.

In Jesus' name, I render ineffective every negative word I have spoken, every negative thing I have thought, every word and thought that has been contrary to the truth of God's Word.

From this moment forward, I will acknowledge only the good things that are in me in Christ Jesus. I am saying it now: out of the good treasure of my heart, only good things will come to pass.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ, a new creation, a heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus. I have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God's Dear Son.

I have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, redeemed from the curse of the Law, redeemed from sickness and disease, poverty and death.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am more than a conqueror. He never leaves me nor forsakes me. Since the Greater One dwells within me, I can overcome every situation. The faith of God resides within me, and through it I have the victory that overcomes the world.

I thank you, Father, that I can have all these things. I believe it in my heart. I have released it with my mouth. So be it. It will surely come to pass!

In Jesus' name, Amen!
